The meeting will be held at three separate venues. It is a 2-minute walk from the Toyama International Conference Center to the Toyama Shimin Plaza, and a 10-minute walk from either of those venues to the Toyama Kenmin Kaikan.

Meeting Format
- The meeting will be held in a hybrid format, primarily onsite, with the use of the conference platform (Rakuraku-Conference).
- For oral presentations and sessions (symposia, workshops), all presentations with abstracts must be given on-site. Online presentations are not permitted.
- If reasonable accommodations are required, please contact us as early as possible so that we can consider individual arrangements.
- There are two opportunities to present posters: online (mandatory) and onsite (optional).
- Online presentations will be conducted by uploading files to the conference platform in advance, allowing participants to view them freely during the conference period. No core time will be set.
- Core time will be scheduled for onsite poster presentations.
- On-Demand Streaming will be available on the conference platform.
- All major events of the conference, symposia and workshops: The organizers will record and later publish them on the online platform.
- Oral presentations: Presenters may record their own presentations in advance or after the meeting and publish the videos on the conference platform as “Self On-Demand Streaming”.
- Poster presentations: All posters will be published online, and presenters may also upload explanatory videos they have recorded themselves.

Mixer
There will be no official mixer or social networking event at this conference. We encourage you to explore the city of Toyama and enjoy interacting with other participants.
Wi-Fi connectivity
Free public Wi-Fi (TOYAMa Free Wi-Fi) is available at all three venues; however, the connection may become unstable if a large number of participants connect at the same time. If you require an internet connection, please arrange your own alternative means of access, such as a mobile data connection.
Support for Participants with Children
ESJ74 will have a Childcare Service at the venue. We also plan to set up a Family Lounge for use by all participants with families, regardless of whether or not they are using childcare. Please check the Childcare support page for details.

Participants of the Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of Japan must comply with the following code of conduct. If requested by meeting staff or other participants to cease any disruptive or inappropriate behavior, participants must comply immediately.
- Prevention of Discriminatory Behavior and Respect for Individual Dignity
Participants must not discriminate against individuals based on attributes such as origin, race, ethnicity, religion, physical characteristics, age, status, gender, sexual orientation, or disability, and must respect the dignity of all individuals. - Prevention of Harassment
Participants must not engage in any form of harassment, including actions that harm the activities or careers of others, cause discomfort to individuals or groups, or encourage such behavior. - Prohibition of Unauthorized Photography, Recording, and Sharing
Participants must not take photographs, record audio, record video, or stream video at the venue without the presenter’s consent. Participants must not disclose unpublished research content to third parties without the presenter’s consent. Participants must not take screenshots or otherwise capture images of videos, posters, or other presentation materials delivered on the meeting platform, or allow people who are not participants to view them.
