  • It is NOT permitted to be a presenter in both a workshop and a regular presentation.
• Registration for conference participation is now open. Please register via Conference Participation Application.
  • Early registration discount is available until 16th Feb. 2027, 13:00 JST.
  • Please note that conference registration will be unavailable from 21th Nov. 2026 to 5th Jan. 2027 and from 16th Feb. 2027, 13:00 JST to 19th Feb. 2027, 9:00 JST due to system migration and system maintenance.
• The results of the selection for Open Sessions and ER Symposia have been published.

Meeting information

The 74th Annual Meeting of the Ecological Society of Japan (ESJ74) will be held as follows. For more details about the meeting, please see meeting overview page.

Dates: 18th March 2027 to 21st March 2027
Venue: Toyama International Conference Center, Toyama Kenmin Kaikan, and Toyama Shimin Plaza (links lead to Google Map)

This meeting will be held in a hybrid format using an online platform alongside on-site events.

• Oral presentations and sessions will take place onsite. Online-only presentations will not be accepted.
• Poster presentations will have two presentation opportunities: an online presentation using the online platform (required for all presenters) and an on-site poster display (optional for those who wish).
• Major conference events will be recorded and made available for on-demand streaming at a later date.
